Kyaunggyi Nyima Temple is another large
temple in Thiripyitsaya region. It is a two-storey building with
a square base and a stupa on top. Kyaunggyi Nyima means "the
younger sister of the great temple". Although similar in name
with Kyaunggyi Ama, the structure of the temples are different.
It is a Zedi Pauk Cave type with no entrance hall. It only
consists of a main hall and then a zedi on top.
There are mural paintings of Buddha, ancient
Bagan, lifestyle and more. Some of theses paintings can still be
seen. Nearby is another similar temple known as Kyaunggyi Ama.
